BABY SO SWEET: COMMERCIAL STORYBOARDING

Azhelle led the design development of storyboards to execute a global brand commercial for the Baby So Sweet line at Toys R Us. Assured the commercial would be 30 seconds long, told a nurturing story, and featured high performing products. She presented these story boards to the VP, Brand Managers and to studio managers who executed the vision.

Azhelle Wade has over a decade of experience in consumer goods, excelling in the areas of product development and management, design innovation, and branding. She holds 3 US patents, and moonlights as an entrepreneur for her convertible event wear company, Costumize Me® LLC. At Toys R Us, she has led the design strategy of four diverse girl’s brands, an umbrella of product spanning from fashion dolls to preschool role play. Additionally, Azhelle led the Product Development and Design for the tween craft line, Totally Me. In just one year, she was able to reverse its downward trajectory by refreshing the brand identity with new packaging and highly unique product. Recently, Azhelle was given the opportunity to join the Babies R Us team as a Product Development and Design Manager, with the charge to establish and re-invigorate the brand’s identity and product assortment.
